Whilst it is no longer a hub of economic activity, its grand and magnificent buildings and monuments remain as testament to its glory days. These days it is a very calm and relaxing place – perfect for a romantic trip away. For the true Venice experience, visitors should spend at least a few hours taking a boat trip through the streets. It will be something that you never forget.
Paris is known for being the romance capital of the world but it offers much more besides romance. There are several internationally renowned buildings and monuments to found there, including Notre Dame, the Arc de Triomphe and, of course, the Eiffel Tower. There is a general ambience around the whole place that can not be matched elsewhere, and the river Seine, which runs through the city, further adds to its character. The food is wonderful, and with a vast array of restaurants you will have no problems sampling it for yourself.
